This directory contains precompiled binaries of Mozilla 0.8.1.

We do not guarantee that any source code or executable code 
available from the mozilla.org domain is Year 2000 compliant.

These binaries were all built from the mozilla cvs repository
(http://www.mozilla.org/cvs.html), off the MOZILLA_0_8_1_20010326_RELEASE tag,
with the following commands used to obtain source:

cvs co -r MOZILLA_0_8_1_20010326_RELEASE mozilla/client.mk
cd mozilla
gmake -f client.mk checkout


mozilla-win32-0.8.1-talkback.zip is identical to mozilla-win32-0.8.1.zip. 

mozilla-win32-installer-0.8.1.exe contains core.xpi (compressed core browser
files), mail.xpi (compressed mail/news files) and the installer required
to install them.  This is your basic win32 client release.

mozilla-win32-0.8.1.zip contains all of dist/bin from an optimized build.  This
includes many debug and test files, and does not include an installer.  If
you do not understand this, you should use mozilla-win32-installer-0.8.1.exe.

Packages in other formats and for other platforms will appear as 
they are produced by volunteers.
